Documents of General Congregation 34 -- A Synopsis

The 34th General Congregation [GC34] of the Society of Jesus met in Rome in the first three months of 1995. Its work affects the immediate future of Jesuits worldwide. The major work of GC 34 was the revision of Jesuit law and the orientation of Jesuit mission for today. Yet a number of important areas of Jesuit life and mission were also treated.

The Hartnett Jesuit News Service has provided synopses of the various documents issued by that Congregation.

The complete, official texts of these documents have also been made available.
