Fr Thomas Anderson Fr. Thomas Anderson, 32, from Shorewood, Wis., has a BA in theology from Creighton University and an MA in German literature from Middlebury College in Vermont. He developed a German program and coordinated Christian Life Communities at Creighton Prep in Omaha. After ordination he will serve as associate pastor at Gesu Parish in Milwaukee. Fr Stephen Barber Fr. Stephen Barber, 42, from San Francisco, has a BA in communications from Loyola Marymount University. He was English teacher, theater director, and football team chaplain at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix. He worked as chaplain at San Quentin State Prison and English teacher at Xiamen Teachers College in China. His older brother, Michael, is also a Jesuit. (California Province)

Fr Michael Bayard Fr. Michael Bayard, 32, from Rockford, Ill., graduated from Marquette University with a BA in theology. He taught religion at Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, S.D., and at Marquette University High School. He has given retreats at parishes in Tacoma and Portland; this fall he will be an associate pastor at Gesu Parish in Milwaukee. (Wisconsin Province)

Fr William Campbell Fr. William Campbell, 33, from Sandwich, Mass., has BAs in music and English from Holy Cross. He worked at St. Francis Xavier in Missoula, Mont., Blessed Sacrament in Cambridge, Mass., and St. Ignatius in Chestnut Hill, Mass., and taught philosophy in Jamaica. He starts as executive director of Nativity Prep in Roxbury, Mass., this fall. (New England Province)

Fr Vicent Capuano Fr. Vincent Capuano, 44, from Pittsburgh, has an MA in education from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked with Fe y Alegria in Bolivia and did pastoral work in Argentina during summers and for three years taught at the Colegio San Mateo, a high school in Osorno, Chile, where he also coached basketball. He will continue theology studies in Granada, Spain, this fall. (Maryland Province)

Fr Michael Castori Fr. Michael Castori, 37, from Sacramento, is a graduate of Harvard with a bachelor's degree in classics. He was a chaplain at San Quentin State Prison and taught on Guam, in the Marshall Islands, and in Fiji, where he taught philosophy at Pacific Regional Seminary. He also served in pastoral ministry in Tonga. This fall he begins graduate work in biblical studies. (New York Province)

Fr David Collins Fr. David Collins, 33, from Washington, D.C., has a BA in history from the University of Virginia. He worked with refugees and the homeless in Germany and taught Latin and religion at St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia, also directing the school's summer service program in Tijuana. This fall he begins PhD studies in European history at Northwestern. (Maryland Province)

Fr James Coughlin Fr. James Coughlin, 33, from Rochester, N.Y., has bachelor's degrees in chemistry and German from St. John Fisher College in Rochester. He taught math, physics, and chemistry at Regis High School in New York and spent two summers in Austria supervising a Regis student exchange program. He will be teaching math and science at Xavier High School this fall. (New York Province)

Fr James Doogan Fr. James Doogan, 38, from the Bronx, has BAs in communications and psychology from the State University of New York in Geneseo. He taught English at a Jesuit high school in Uruguay and worked with the Pacific Institute for Community Organizing in San Jose. This fall he plans to start as associate pastor at Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Barbara. (California Province)

Fr Mark George Fr. Mark George, 40, from Mishawaka, Ind., has a BA in art from Notre Dame. He taught math at St. Ignatius High in Cleveland and worked at Holy Rosary St. John's in Columbus, Ohio. He was youth minister at a Maronite parish in Boston. An artist who works in oil, he plans to continue painting; he hopes to be working in an inner-city parish. (Detroit Province)

Fr Dave Godleski Fr. David Godleski, 40, from Grand Rapids, Mich., has a doctorate in applied math from Northwestern. He taught math at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Ill. For two summers he traveled with students to the Dominican Republic for service projects; he also was a chaplain at Georgetown University's hospital. He starts as vocation director for his province this fall. (Chicago Province)

Fr Richard Hermes Fr. Richard Hermes, 34, from Shreveport, La., has BAs in philosophy and classics from St. Louis University and an MA in classical languages; he taught Latin and Greek at Jesuit High in New Orleans and has been involved in service programs in Tijuana and Appalachia. Currently in scripture studies in Rome, he will continue studies in Jerusalem this fall. (New Orleans Province)

Fr Luat Hoang Fr. Luat Hoang, 40, from Binh Long, Vietnam, has a BS in math from Santa Clara University. He taught math at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, worked with senior citizens in California, and has trained conductors and given chorus workshops at Vietnamese parishes throughout the country. He will be teaching math at Jesuit High in Sacramento this fall. (California Province)

Fr Timothy Howe Fr. Timothy Howe, 35, from Chicago, has a BA in philosophy from the University of California Berkeley and an MA in Spanish from Loyola University Chicago. He taught at Xavier High in Cincinnati and led students on mission trips to the Dominican Republic; he also directed retreats in Spain. He starts work toward an MEd at Harvard this fall. Fr Gregory Hyde Fr. Gregory Hyde, 49, from Detroit, has an MA in German literature from Indiana University and an MA in English from Michigan State. He taught at St. Xavier's School in Kathmandu, Nepal. He taught speech and served in campus ministry at John Carroll University. He is interested in working once again with the Society in Nepal. Fr Stephen KatsourosFr. Stephen Katsouros, 38, from Washington, D.C., has a BA in English from the University of Maryland and an MA in education from Harvard. He worked at Covenant House and Nativity Mission in New York and cofounded the Gonzaga Program for junior high boys in Harlem. He will be assistant dean of students at St. Peter's Prep this fall. Fr Frank LaRoccaFr. Frank LaRocca, 34, from Ithaca, has a BA in Romance languages from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught and directed the service program at Regis High School in New York. He worked in Rome as assistant editor for the Jesuit yearbook. This fall he will continue studies in Latin American economic development. (New York Province)

Fr John McLainFr. John McLain, 34, from Seattle, holds a BA in broadcast production from Washington State. He taught history and religion and coached alpine skiing at Jesuit High in Portland and served as ROTC chaplain and assistant to the freshman dean at Boston College and as assistant coach of Harvard's ski team. He plans to be a chaplain in an airborne unit of the army. (Oregon Province)

Fr William ProsperoFr. William Prospero, 32, from Wauwatosa, Wis., graduated from Marquette University High School and from Marquette University with a BS in business. He taught religion and business at Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, S.D., and has taught English to Jesuit scholastics in Poland. This fall he will work at the Sioux Spiritual Center in Plainview, S.D. (Wisconsin Province)

Fr Jeff PutthoffFr. Jeff Putthoff, 33, from Kansas City, attended Boston College and earned a BA in philosophy from St. Louis University and an MA in English from Loyola University Chicago. He worked in a parish in rural Honduras, served as a prison chaplain, and worked with the homeless in Boston. He starts as an associate pastor at Holy Name Parish in Camden this fall. Fr Stephen Sauer Fr. Stephen Sauer, 36, from New Orleans, has a BS in psychology from Georgetown and an MA in counseling from the University of Minnesota. He worked in campus ministry at Spring Hill College, taught math and religion in Belize, and studied theology in Rome and Paris. He plans to pursue a PhD in psychology and work in student affairs at a Jesuit university. (New Orleans Province)

Fr Mark TorresFr. Mark Torres, 43, from San Jose, has a master's degree in library science from San Jose State. He studied philosophy and theology in France and taught philosophy at Gonzaga University in Spokane. He was a hospital chaplain in Phoenix and worked at a soup kitchen in Guaymas, Mexico. He will continue graduate studies in social work at Boston College this fall. (California Province)

Fr Gregory VanceFr. Gregory Vance, 33, from Billings, Mont., has a BA in English and philosophy from Gonzaga University in Spokane. He taught religion and English at Seattle Prep, was involved in street ministry in Tacoma, and spent a summer in South America with students in an exchange program. Fr Joseph WagnerFr. Joseph Wagner, 33, from Erie, Pa., has an MA in math from the University of Wisconsin. He taught math at Xavier University in Cincinnati, where he also worked in campus ministry. He studied Spanish in Mexico and taught English to Latin American refugees in California. He plans to pursue a PhD in math education at UC Berkeley in the fall. (Chicago Province)

Fr Chris Weekly Fr. Christopher Weekly, 39, from Salem, Ore., has a BA in economics from Gonzaga University in Spokane. He taught photography and theology at Red Cloud Indian School in South Dakota and worked as a prison chaplain in Boston. He will continue theology studies at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley this fall and plans to work in parish ministry. (Oregon Province)

Fr William Wizeman Fr. William Wizeman, 34, from Newark, N.Y., has a BA in theology from Fordham. He has worked as a hospital chaplain, taught history and theology at the Loyola School in New York and at Canisius High in Buffalo, directed retreats at St. Beuno's in Wales, and served at a parish in Nigeria. He is currently working on a PhD in Church history at Oxford. (New York Province)

Fr Eric Zuckerman Fr. Eric Zuckerman, 46, from New York, has an MFA in poetry from the University of Montana. He was a pastoral minister in Missoula, Mont., taught RCIA at St. John the Baptist in El Cerrito, Calif., and served as a support person for a JVC community. He hopes to remain involved in Jewish-Catholic dialogue and concentrate on poetry and sacramental ministry. (Oregon Province)
