Dr. Tony Tocco
Accounting professor, soccer coach
Rockhurst College, Kansas City
Time on the job: 30 years
Professor Tocco's booming voice and drive for perfection mark him in the minds of his soccer
players and accounting students alike, but they also refer to him as mentor and friend. Dr. Tocco's
winning ways and classroom dedication have earned him the status of Rockhurst legend. Teams
under his leadership have achieved more than 450 victories, 21 trips to the NAIA nationals, and
14 appearances in the Final Four. Dr. Tocco and his wife, Phyllis, have four children.
Mr. William Lockyear
Treasurer, Oregon Province Office, Portland
Time on the job: 8 years
Mr. Lockyear, the first lay chief financial officer of a Jesuit province, brings his expertise as a
CPA not only to the Oregon Province but also to the other U.S. Jesuit provinces: he and the
Jesuit Conference treasurer in Washington, D.C., have developed a model for financial projections
as well as management tools to help Jesuit interprovince cooperation. Mr. Lockyear, a former
trustee for the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California, is a member of the National
Jesuit Committee for Investment Responsibility.
Ms. Patricia Kossman
Literary editor, America magazine, New York
Time on the job: 9 months
Ms. Kossman's 30 years in religious-book publishing are a tremendous asset to her new employer,
America magazine in New York. Though the only woman on the editorial staff, she feels at home
as the magazine's literary editor and director of the Catholic Book Club. America's weekly
deadlines are a change of pace from the relative leisure of book publishing, but Ms. Kossman
unwinds with classical music and four prized cockatiels.

LMU organized a service opportunity day in eight cities last year. Sr. Dolan is working on Alumni
