It's your chance to shine! Once again Company invites you to submit your best Jesuit-related photos, this time for our third photo contest.
We will be publishing the results in our Summer '02 issue. Send us your pictures that portray a facet of the Ignatian world: a reunion weekend on campus, volunteers at a food bank or soup kitchen, a high school graduation, a wedding at a Jesuit parish--you get the picture.
Photos will be selected based on their connection to the Ignatian world and their quality and composition. We will publish first, second, and third-place winners in amateur and professional categories as well as a number of honorable mentions. Prizes will be announced in our Winter issue. What to send: color or black & white prints; copies (not originals) of your slides; or digital images (TIFF or JPG files at 300 dpi on disk or CD or e-mailed to address below). Send as many as you want. Accompany each photo with a 25 to 50-word description of the photo and how it relates to the Ignatian world.
We will also need a short statement in which you state that the photo or photos you submit are your original work and that you grant Company the right to publish them in print and electronic form. Let us know also whether you are entering as an amateur or a professional, the latter being someone who has studied photography extensively and/or makes or made a living as a photographer. Please include a return address and daytime phone number.
